The old: a great community event, a challenging (but fun!) course, and a great charitable cause.
The new: the cause this year is the Golden Schools Foundation, a home-grown nonprofit promoting excellence in Golden’s schools.
The details on this year’s Golden Gallop 5k/10k/Kid’s Fun Run:
- Sunday, November 6
- at the Splash Aquatic Park in Golden
- USATF certified route and chip timing by Colorado Race Timing
- everyone gets a long-sleeved technical shirt from Greenlayer Sports
- the 10k starts at 9am, the 5k at 10am, the awards at 11:30am, and the Lil’ Gallop Kids Run is at 11:45am
- proceeds benefit the Golden Schools Foundation
Registration for the Golden Gallop is open. And if you aren’t planning to run in the race, you can volunteer instead . . .
